How to create an error log, analyze silly mistakes, identify conceptual gaps, and convert mock test failures into high examination percentiles.
Taking mock tests without thorough analysis is like taking medicine without diagnosing the illness.
#### The 3-Bucket Error Log Technique:
Categorize every wrong or unattempted question into one of three buckets:
1. **Conceptual Gap**: You did not understand the underlying formula or rule. Action: Re-read textbook notes immediately.
2. **Silly / Calculation Mistake**: You knew the concept but misread the question or made an arithmetic error. Action: Note the trigger in your error diary.
3. **Time Pressure / Guesswork**: You ran out of time or panicked. Action: Adjust sectional time allocation.
Spend twice as much time analyzing a test as you did writing it!
